My New Altar Space!

Welcome to my new altar space!

I have been dreaming of this setup for quite some time, these past two years of moving across States moving multiple times, and settling into our new home, I finally created my permanent altar space.

I've had this apothecary cabinet for years now that I got from Hobby Lobby, and it keeps all my crystals organized and color coded and I've always used the top as my main altar space.

But I've always had a love for collecting Goddess statues and creating altars with my different statues, so I added these two shelves that match my cabinet so I can finally have a permanent place for my Goddesses!

I'm excited to create beautiful spaces for the Divine Feminine and see how this altar shifts from season to season, Moon cycle to Moon cycle!

Something that has always irked me has been the use of "alter" and "altar". I've seen a lot of people use the word alter instead of altar and that was such a huge pet peeve of mine!

But I realized something that shifted that pet peeve for me.

We create altars to alter our reality.

We create altars because we are wanting to focus our energy and devotion into something bigger than ourselves so we can feel connected and call in that higher divine frequency of love and devotion into our daily life.

An altar is a physical prayer.

Containing beautiful symbols, anchors, and reminders for us to stay devoted to what is truly sacred for us and calling in our higher purpose so we can be present with it daily. So we can serve, create, and pour all our love from this highest vision and frequency.

If you don't have an altar space set up I highly encourage you do so. An altar is a portal and doorway to your inner Temple and inner altar within you.
